Geography and History
Kidds Beach, a quaint seaside village on the Sunshine Coast of the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. Kidds Beach is situated some 30km outside East London. Kidds Beach is named after a former King William's Town mayor, Charles Kidd.

Whales have been spotted on this part of the sunshine coast, particularly from May through August and the annual sardine run in June/July brings scores of dolphins into the area, as well as the game fish and sharks that follow...
The nearby Shelly Beach, Fullers Bay and Peter Pan Bay have warm, calm waters and offer magnificent views. Cove Rock is a natural wonder that is known to the Xhosa as Gompo, and is a place of historical and spiritual importance.
